Interior Repair Process After Tree Damage in Unicoi, Tennessee

Recently, Residence Roofing & Restoration had the opportunity to assist a homeowner in Unicoi, Tennessee, after a significant incident involving a fallen tree. This unfortunate event led to severe damage to the property, prompting the homeowner to reach out for professional help.

The process began with a thorough inspection conducted by a HAAG Inspector from Residence Roofing & Restoration. During the inspection, it was discovered that there were multiple areas of severe damage, particularly to the interior of the house. One of the most critical findings was the complete damage to an exterior wall, necessitating reframing and the demolition of the entire room.

After identifying the damages, the team met with both the homeowner and the insurance adjuster. They presented the findings from the inspection, ensuring everyone was on the same page regarding the necessary Interior repairs. Once the job was approved, the team was ready to proceed with the repairs.

The first step involved reframing the entire damaged exterior wall to restore structural integrity. After the framing was complete, insulation was added to ensure energy efficiency and comfort. New sheetrock was then installed to create a fresh and clean look for the interior space. The team applied drywall joint compound to smooth out the surfaces for a flawless finish. Texturing was added to give the walls character, followed by a fresh coat of paint to brighten the room. To complete the transformation, finishing touches were added, including flooring, trim work, baseboard, closet rack setup and add a brand-new ceiling fan.

The outcome of this project was truly remarkable. The entire room was transformed into a beautiful and inviting space, showcasing the hard work and dedication of the Residence Roofing & Restoration team.
